Photo; Nigeria's Biggest Navy Ship, Aradu Sails Alongside South African And Brazilian Vessels

Pictured -Nigerian navy frigate Aradu (right) sailing alongside a South African and a Brazilian vessel in Gulf of Guinea. The Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Aradu is the biggest Navy ship in Nigeria. A 125.6m long all purpose fighting ship, the Aradu evokes the sound craftsmanship of its German builder, Blohm & Voss and the prowess of Nigeria as the hegemony of West Africa.
The NNS Aradu was originally named NNS Republic and was acquired during the Shagari Administration to complement and eventually replace the NNS Nigeria (now NNS Obuma) as the Nigerian Navy frigate.
